EMIS Ltd, based in Warsaw, Poland a manufacturer of the FLEXOR line of inspection slitters and rewinders and die cutting machines, reports the successful installation of yet another machine of its popular 380C+ model to ETIX s.r.o. based in Brno, Czech Republic.

This is the fourth FLEXOR machine on this market within a short time which was manufactured and installed by EMIS Ltd. “We are excited that ETIX has chosen our re-register die cutting and slitting rewinding machine, the Flexor 380C+ for its production needs. The machine is fully servo driven and the re-register die cutting unit was adopted to fit the range of magnetic cylinders ETIX was using already on its printing press which saved costs for the Brno based converter,” says Adam Robak, International Sales Director at EMIS.

The market knowledge and excellent reputation of Mr. Bradley in the UK and Ireland combined with Flexor’s experience will be a perfect match to cover the needs of the flexography industry in the UK.

EMIS will display CTC’s new VTR “Value Turret Rewinder” at the Label Expo Brussels show Hall 11 stand R90 from September 23rd – 26th 2009. The Turret Rewinder will wind web nonstop from the Flexor 380C+ Slitter Rewinder, which is also a value priced machine. The combination of the CTC Value Turret with the EMIS Flexor model slitter rewinder is a natural fit providing a total value package to the label manufacturer says Rich Herbert; CTC’s VP for sales.

Additionally, EMIS will assume sales responsibility for CTC’s line of label automation products for Europe.  It is expected that the Turret Rewinders will be offered in both right hand and left hand designs.

EMIS, a manufacturer of the FLEXOR Slitter Rewinders, is anticipated to begin manufacturing the CTC designed Turret Rewinders and Splicers at their factory in Lodz, Poland in the near future. The machines will be converted to metric design and will incorporate more locally sourced components to better serve the European market.
