New FLEXOR Sales Partner in South Africa

Label Expo 2019 Review

he FLEXOR TEAM wants to thank all its partners, friends and customers for a great and successful show! We had a great time and we had great successes during the 4 days in Brussels in Belgium. With many machines sold during the show and more sales following shortly after the show it has once again been a pleasure to host all of you on our stand! Great coffee, home brewed FLEXOR beer and some special Polish delights were served next to interesting and innovative machinery.

We would like to thank all our Customers, Partners and Friends for their visits on our booth during the exhibition LabelExpo 2019 in Brussels. It was a great pleasure for us to welcome all and to have the possibility to show our machines live in production. We are very happy to have met all personally and our new design and bigger booth contributed to more effective and pleasant meetings with our customers. This edition of the exhibition was a great success in regards to number of visitors, discussions and started projects. A particular attention was given to the machine FLEXOR xCUT PRO II – compact finishing machine for digitally printed labels with working width of up to 330mm equipped in an unwind, webguide with splice table, laminator, UV flexo unit and semi-rotary die cutting station, length slitting, matrix rewind and final product rewind with servo drive and expanding shaft. During the show the machine was demonstrated with a finishing speed of up to 55 m/min. This is the perfect addition to any Konica Minolta printing press.

Besides the xCUT Series FLEXOR has presented also the latest inspection IQ Series machine FLEXOR 440 2C, the new generation of IQ machine, fully servo equipped – with two independent servo motors driving each die station. The machine was presented with double die cutting station, UV Flexo Unit and an digitally adjustable anvil cylinder supplied by Technocut. The machine also featured the all new 3 in 1 semi turret with the iKNIFE system and the new iSLIT automatic knife sytem.

All operators on the FLEXOR booth had a great assistant – the roll lifter FLEXI ROLL LIFT 800L, that was appreciated even by the most demanding visitors.

FLEXOR to present new converting and finishing solutions

Converting machinery manufacturer FLEXOR (stand D38, hall 7) will present the new xCUT PRO II semi rotary digital finisher  at Labelexpo Europe for the first time.

This comes with integrated flexo unit and cold foil. It features the shortest web path in industry, is extremely easy to use and highly accurate.

FLEXOR is also showing a brand new semi automatic turret rewinder for faster and more economical role changes in short runs, and the new iSLIT automatic knife setting system, for easier and faster job set ups.

Both innovations are optionally available for most FLEXOR machines. In addition, FLEXOR machines will be presented as Industry 4.0 ready. A new integrated IoT Gateway module simplifies the capturing and analyzing of machine data and makes it easier to continuously measure and improve productivity.

Alongside these innovations, the company will also be introducing the redesigned IQ Series with flexo UV station, jumbo unwind and the new semi automatic turret rewinder.

Catapult Print and Packaging USA starts production with Flexor 100% Inspection machine

Catapult Print and Packaging, USA – Mark Cook CEO at Catapult Print and Packaging, has invested in a FLEXOR 100% inspection machine with a BST Tubescan Camera as his first machine to start production in Orlando, USA. Catapult Print and Packaging is a Startup and has in the past months grown with further investements in Linerless Labels equipment along with the Flexor slitter rewinder. Les Bradley, Flexor’s UK agent has made the connection and sealed the deal with Mark Cook. Mark comments that if “we are to be the best then we need the best equipment available to us. The Flexor is set up to run all our materials from shrink sleeve to label stock and linerless.”

Catapult is a young and modern company which combines expertise, leading edge technology, collaboration and a passion for what they do, to deliver the industry leading solutions. Manfred Minich appointed Director Business Development

Warsaw, Poland (December 1, 2018) – FLEXOR has expanded its sales and business development team with a recent appointment of Manfred Minich as Director Business Development for Europe.

Based in Stuttgart, Germany, Mr. Minich joins the FLEXOR team with extensive industry knowledge being the former CEO of companies like HERMA and ATLANTIC ZEISER. Mr. Minich brings a strong technological background and entrepreneurial spirit to the role which focuses on supporting current and new business for FLEXOR label inspection, slitter/rewinder finishing machines as well as higher level support to the agent network throughout Europe and FLEXOR’s OEM partners.
